Ubuntu has many new features again, the worse the service in my very eyes. After having now been with 10.04 for ages and from Windows right above the windows maximize minimize close buttons-known-has shifted to the left, now comes the Gau: Gnome is replaced by the developed Canonical environment Unity . For wide-screen monitors, it is certainly reasonable to that the program icons are on the side and not above. For people with a 4:3 screen makes the rather pointless. Furthermore, now to hide the scroll bars on the windows. It makes obviously sinister effort to degrade the service rather than offer drivers for each device. Because that time was the great success of Windows: There were drivers for everything. Why Canonical, the surface constantly changes and so do I and only slightly worse on the compatibility with any (!) Hardware works, I can not understand at all. I hate that! Sludgy not permanently on my desktop rum!
the way I use Debian almost exclusively for some time. It is kind of my first Operating system for the internet has become. Ubuntu is with me only the nr 2
Windows I still need to communicate with the phone, the satellite receiver and the scanner. My (still distant) goal now is to install Windows in a virtual machine and from there to communicate to the said USB devices to use. I will report on the experience so here. I would have absolutely no private Windows computer more.
Ne true, not quite. There is the old PC around with Win3.x and Win95, which organizes the fax. The sat I am not. ;-)
